Methodology
We believe in a multi-paradigm approach to teaching with the final goal of really being able to communicate in English. Successful communication requires aptitude in all the language skill areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing and so all of these are covered equally in our classes.
All of our teachers are fully-qualified native speakers who conduct the classes almost exclusively in English. Complete submersion in English in the class facilitates the process of learning both natural language and correct pronunciation.
Pree-School
Classes are available for pre-primary school children from three to five years old. These classes are conducted by experienced native teachers who aim to instill correct pronunciation at the earliest possible age – so that students learn how to speak English before they even write it – just as they would be learning Spanish. There is a focus on games and singing so that the children learn through play in an enjoyable and stimulating environment.
Primary Age
Children from six to twelve years old follow a fun and challenging course focusing on good communication in all the main skill areas. The syllabus follows that recommended by the University of Cambridge for Young Learners and the children are given the opportunity to sit the corresponding internationally-recognized exams. Parents can rest assured that their children are attaining a level of English which is comparable across countries and cultures.
Teenagers
Our courses for teenagers cover all the skill areas required for good communication in English and guarantee that students are not only attaining good marks for their school work but are also learning to speak effectively in English. Teenagers at our school prepare for the University of Cambridge’s Main Suite of Exams which are not only officially recognized in Spain but also throughout the world.
Adults
Adult students have many different needs for English ranging from just being able to communicate better when going on holidays abroad to having an officially recognized qualification on their CV. We have a large range of classes catering to all levels from complete beginners to advanced and we also prepare students for officially recognized exams. Classes are available in the evening for people who work and are also available in the morning.
